If that’s not what you want for your wedding destination then you need to consider some of the quieter areas of the island which will reflect the traditional civilization old villages containing typical white villas that contrast with awe-inspiring scenery for your wedding photographs.

You could look at getting married in Florence, where you will see the artistic heritage amongst all the monuments. The Arno River running through it also gives it that finishing touch.

You could also look at getting married in Siena, this also being one of my favourites due to its medieval history, towns, hills and ancient walls.

Why not consider ‘The Lakes’ for an Italian Wedding Destination? Lake Como Wedding Destination is probably the most Idyllic. It has the most romantic backdrop with elegant villas and an array of flowers. It really is beautiful.

I could go on and on about the places you could choose for your romantic wedding abroad in Italy like Rome, the Italian Riviera or the Amalfi Coast. However, if you are considering Italy, it is best to do some research on all the different places because there is something to suit everyone.

You may ask yourself, how do I go about getting married in Italy? Well, like any other place in the world, you can either book a wedding package through your travel agent or hotel or you could organise a wedding planner to arrange the whole wedding day for you and your guests.
